Bards in OT are commonly asking for rezzes - just make sure your connection is as stable as it can be.

All the usual BS, don't play on a wireless connection unless you're forced to, shut down any browser windows, turn off your torrents/downloads. Do what you can to keep the lag spikes down [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Also a guise of the deciever from Lower Guk is a bonus for OT isn't it?

After too much trial and error the last couple of days I finally figured out how to pull all of OT without a deadly amount of mob lag. But I'm pretty sure it was because of my puny 256mb video card.

Kind of reminds me of another point. Some people experience a moment's lag when someone zones in (4 choices there).

Don't play on a calculator!

The lag the I receive seems purely from the amount of mobs that I have on me, it doesn't seem to spike anymore unless i have over 100. Even then as long as im paying really good attention I can always correct for the lag.

There are a few tricks to reducing lag, helps me regularly kite 100/120+ mobs in OT.

Turn off all spell effects number one.
Hide all corpses (I have a macro for that, so as mobs die in kite I tap it and reduces graphic lag)
Turn off far clip plane (I usually keep it at 100% while gathering, then drop it down to ~40-50% for the DoT portion)
Some other bards could prob chime in with some other stuff I might be missing. I hide DoT dmg messages too, it's all second nature at this point so hard to recall specifically.

Incluiding the run from Freeport to befallen, it would take 1 hour~ roughly for a 60 druid with good gear to get a bard 1-13. 13-24 would take another 2-3 hours including travel time to unrest. 24-30 I'd suggest Lguk, not sure how long it would take.

There are Sarnak casters, but when I pull kites they only include Tigers, Plants, Birds. If you agro a sarnak while gathering it is likely he'll social agro more sarnak and eventually a caster.

It's same deal in BW (at least for me solo), I only do bees and skeles there, nothing else due to varying hit boxes and casters.
