Conflag wands are classic, like the tstaff. Both I agree are unfair.

But the point remains. This isn't a "balance pvp" project. It's a classic EQ project.

The WoW boards are/were a great place to play arm chair balance artist and I guess because of their community, it fit. It doesn't belong here.

Sample size is incorrect as the "root spam" everyone was/is talking about comes from the druids line of root (Wooly Nets etc..) which in-fact should be much more resistable due to its dmg component, not just the root/immobilize/paralyzing earth line. But for some reason on this server it always has landed way more than it should have.

Having to wear max magic in every slot and then even still getting rooted is stupid even in a custom sense.

Given lag on opening weekend and a hasty banning of our guild and failure to comply with server/project policy.. he doesn't hold much weight for me on what's good for this server or not right now. Besides, Nilbog is the project manager let him say it.

If no intentions exist to ever change this.. I'm good and done helping red. Yay for you!

Realistically, my contribution in regards to content is complete. The content exists, and works well. When the upcoming content is released, you will enjoy a more complete implementation from being thoroughly tested on the pve server.

For the people claiming that I don't do anything: The pvp server is Rogean's. The pve server is mine. We share several responsibilities for them, but when it comes to rule changes or release dates for the pvp server, Rogean is who you need to address. My vote regarding pvp does matter, I hope, but ultimately I do not make the final call for pvp changes involving releases or rules. For example, I liked item loot and thought teams would be cool to try out. In the end, it was a discussion between Rogean, Null, and myself.

I have tried, several times, to gauge interest in what needs changing. I have voiced my opinion and did the related work as I could. Things like guard assist, certain items not dropping that should, manastone working in the planes, etc. This is additional work on top of what I already do for the pve server. Regardless of what I did, I received more negative feedback than positive: Wasn't enough, wasn't fast enough, or whatever sounds the worst.

IMO what needs to happen for pvp changes: Untrolled discussion. Cohesion of realistic ideas. If I were to guess, Rogean doesn't respond to most of these threads because of how the topics are addressed and what people say about him.
