You can definitely dispell malo but not shaman slow. It used to be cure disease-able but that was fixed a few months ago.

I was curious about this and just slowed myself in top slot. Then cast cancel magic and it dispelled slow.

IIRC the only way to get rid of slow in classic was dispell. The disease counter cure removal method was added sometime in later expansions. As far as I know, you can currently dispell any player cast debuff.

I've been crazy busy and hadn't recharged my strings in a while, but that is fixed now. I'll be giving one or two mobs a shot in the coming days...

and to comment on some other stuff from page 11, oops, hadn't realized donals is only 20 sec. i can't say i've tried it, but i would think a cleric could stand far enough back to be out of the aoe range, though that would also be really stupid if thats how it was coded. regardless, grats shinko/anthrax! you just use manastone+cheal or did you have to use other heals? I have no clue how efficient the cleric HoT line spells are. Manastoning, HoTing yourself, and then casting Cheal might also work now that i think about it. but if you want to keep your secret, thats cool :P

i didn't mean to discourage anything, though i see how it sounded like that. i guess i like loraens idea of pointing out the first to solo/duo god mode stuff in cases like this. again, i'm still impressed by those donals duos, tho i bet it gets a bit boring :P

...wait, you can't slow ixiblat anymore?? there goes my crazy plan to trio then duo him if its tru :/

gating at 1%, thats the worst man. gl, you'll get him, clearly you have the ability to, just gotta stick it out!

wow, that was a crazy fight. just tried to solo a cliff golem. i got him to 7%, and two major things went wrong for me. first, i didn't anticipate that he would enrage. he enraged at about 8%, with my pet at 10-15%. if there was no enrage, it was going to be a close call, but an easy enough win for me. the second problem i ran into was the wtfihateyou snare whip that Save put on him. this caused me to nearly wipe in the first 20 seconds. it also blocked me from being able to pop tree form for the extra +hp and +mana regen. finally, being snared meant that when he did enrage, i couldn't get into melee range fast enough to turn him around so my pet would live. even if i had, i'm not so sure i could have tanked him long enough to finish the fight, as I was completely out of mana.

i went into the fight with max mana gear, 3016 mana i think. what i need to do next time is as the fight nears to an end, swap in as much hp and ac gear as i can so I can tank him just a bit longer. i tanked a bit randomly during the fight since i was sitting at full hp, but i can only take a few hits before i have to step out again.

i got lucky in that i didn't get a charm break. i wonder how much the golem duel wielding effects the fight, if at all. i spent 100% of my mana healing the pet, which i think is the most efficient thing to do. i also got lucky in that my pet proc'd tash fairly quickly and that slow landed ont he first click. later in the fight i slowed him again just to make sure it wouldn't wear off.

it was a tense fight though, both mobs were more or less neck and neck for % hp the whole time, as my heals kept the foreman alive. i saw enrage and my pet died just as i was getting to the other side of the golem. after that i had nothing to do but wait for him to kill him. it took him 10-15 seconds to finish me off, but with no mana and no high level mobs in sight to charm (and no way for them to regain agro anyway), i was done for.

i'm hearing that enrage always kicks in around 9-10% and lasts for a set duration. what might work is initially having my pet guard far from the fight. then when he rages, step in and tell the pet to back off. spam him to back off while i run from the golem. i'm not sure if he will choose to summon me or my pet though. if he summons the pet, then i have to stay in range to tank him. if he summons me i can just take the hits and run out of melee range over and over until enrage wears off, then send the pet back in. this might let me survive a bit longer. idk, i'm gunna have to play with it. hp/ac gear late in the fight + tree form will help a ton. i'm also not sure if its better to give my pet Natureskin (more hp, ac, regen), or give him Skin Like Nature (lets me robe heal him during the fight). i robed myself a few times after i tanked, and wouldn't have been able to robe my pet too much, so its hard to tell if the extra mitigation and hp+regen is better than a few free heals. i also can't med while robing, which sucks. i also need to play with trying to use ES vambs (i just didn't think to use them), and now that i mention that, i didn't have +mana gear in that slot or one of my fingers. the fight would have been crazy easy with either a reaper cheal click or spamming bladestopper, but i really think i can get it with just strings and a mallet. something about using all those clickies on something this "simple" sounds lame. hell, i could probably go back and solo drusella without a cheal stick now that i know i can haste my pets, but i don't care that much.

unfortunately i spent most of the fight far enough away that my logs didn't catch all of my pets dps. i did however manage to do 3840 dmg just from my DS on myself and my pet. at 32 a pop from my pet, and 38 a pop the few times he hit me, thats a lot of hits :P logs are putting it at a 4 minute long fight.

drusella was still probably my most nerveracking fight, because of all the prep work i had to put into it, and how annoying the cr's were. also it was the first seriously hard fight i did. this cliff golem fight might have been the most fun so far though. it was a long enough fight that i could relax a bit. i actually burned though all my mana by the end, and there were some crazy curveballs thrown at me. i'm sure this got really boring to read, but i just felt like rambling a bit and think about the fight before i pass out. gnight, and welcome droxx to the list! your tranix fight was fun to watch, and you seemed close to biting it at one point. his guards weren't up, but they are easy to single pull off with any class :P grats on the crown!

Dual wielding makes a huge difference obviously; its like +75% dps. I'd try and kill the one on the other entrance.

Nice job Svenn; 1 more for god mode!

Also I added hyperlinks for everyone's sheets I think so that you can see what mobs they killed.
