His opinion on a staff member was said individually to another person in the game. Did he go into rants and flames and say shit about you or another GM?

Sure he had a message in his character status with a healthy distaste for your decision, but really? Just silly.

I'm mad about decisions by staff too and I've openly disagreed with what has been done on many occasions, this just sounds like overkill.

You cant do something negative to players and not expect some kind of negative reaction. It happened all the time on live and was never met with this kind of discipline. I understand you are very involved personally(and do an amazing job) with this server but as the admin you "should" understand that these kind of things are going to happen and you cant get emotionally invested in the disciplinary decisions you make, which is clearly the case here.

A warning would have been just punishment if anything at all.

Suspending somebody for what they said in tells to somebody else is very weak if you ask me.

Doesnt matter how or who it was sent to. He disrespected someone that puts their time into the server so players and play for free. Dont act surprised about the ban, its was inevitable.

If it was a matter of respect, a significant portion of this server would have been banned long ago.

And what I'm saying is many people have crossed that line in the past, and said worse things. This just seems like misdirected rage from both parties.

So a ban is the only way to throw someone back in their place? Well if it happens once it should happen everytime someone is out of line. To keep GM ruling the same you know?

I don't see a timestamp in that picture... The inspect message was put there before you took away / before you announced you were taking away titles?

That doesn't make any sense.
