Yah, he wasn't an issue on Live. I farmed HG's big time during Velious and never had an issue.

i was killing blackwing last night for my bard epic on my alt and half through the fight I noticed my hp's starting going down FAST, im getting my ass whooped big time and im thinking "wtf is going on?" before i realzied Rharzar had pathed to me from behind. 3 seconds later it was LOADING, PLEASE WAIT.

Same here, unfortunately it is only my memory. I've been on my wife's halfling druid and been pasted a couple times on p99. But boy does that toon earn back XP fast compared to my pally!

Well, I think he IS supposed to path over there by Blackwing and the sphynx, and the other drakes. But you can stay out of his route if you are camping Blackwing/Shardwing.

aye, he always will path by the blackwing spawn, just stay away from the zone wall (anti our innate eq survival skills) and blackwing is static in the back there so that's good also. Blackwing also is on a force repop cycle a la hasten etc

I spent countless hours on live farming HGs in rath and never seen him around the HG area definitly not "classic".

If one or more people will post some links backing up our memories (that he is not supposed to path through the valley where people fight giants) then I will write up the bug.
