People playing on the server = active pvp. You know 1 + 1 does actually equal 2, no?

Yes I'm aware of that.

Did you know that there's over 100 zones in Kunark era EQ, some of which take 10 minutes just to run across?

How much time does 1 spend finding the other 1 to make 2, especially with a +/- level restriction? Maybe you can research this and let me know.

But if they are actually sticking the exp bonus permanently then that's encouraging.

The vast majority will focus on the major dungeons. Sure you can hide from pvp, you could easily do that on live as well, but the competition is always going to be over dungeons and "pixels" that give you that advantage in pvp. Especially early on when kunark legacy is out, it won't be hard to find people.

The server can't come back at this point beyond being a solo box for one guild and the same old five-six people who decide to try red for a week then quit. The good will is gone, the first / second / third / fourth impressions already made, the only way to get people back is to wipe and start with all this shit in from the get go + kunark. The only thing short of that is maybe some sort of MASSIVE PR effort by Rogean trying to sell kunark as a "new start" with better communication and shit, but honestly, I give a wipe a much better chance at happening than that.
