I tend to be a somewhat forgiving person, people do make mistakes. But if people are actually hacking, shouldn't the punishment be at least the same as the far more forgiveable crime of 2 boxing?

throw a week ban on em. but permanently banning them just makes the server pop go -1, at least. and not sure how many perma bans have went out but. population is pretty bad.
if you show there is an active GM staff policing, people will learn to obey the guidelines. Fact is EQ live is now free. and you can hack as much as you want on that server. Train and grief as much as you want. Box all day. will take more than a "classic experience" to build a decent population here.
