First off--This is Rants and Flames NSFW... I made a post stating my opinion and not everything people post in RnF are seasoned with cookies and sprinkles. I said Nilblog and Rogean have understandable moved on, from working on this server. How is it considered a horrible act to say an OPINION in RnF. I now understand everything in RnF has to be fact and will be wiki'd for accuracy, or will be banned. Hasbinbad posted saying he wished the troops would die ect ect ect and he wasnt even banned, I say rogean and nilblog dont care about p99 anymore and I was told to "fuck off". This may be new to some of you, but some of us enjoy watching people get worked up, with that said Nilblog wasnt the person I was trying to get upset.

I do find it hilarious that everyone thats posting saying they are have a blast on p99 are from TMO. They are also the same people who post like morons all the time saying how there internet penis is huge and how in RL they are chick magnets, but when people post there RL picture they freak and petition to get people banned and GM's jump on it and ban away. If you do want Jeremy, Alarti's, Loly, Slipperys RL pics feel free to pm me as I dont "think" emailing the pics is against the rules. If im wrong let me know.

You used our names to indicate we aren't interested in the server and are profiting in some way from ads. We do not personally profit from the server. In reality, it's expensive to maintain and I hope people choose to donate for that reason.

Then there is the GM's that are so full of themselves, that they think because they suck enough of Rogeans cock that somehow are the best judge of what can and should be done for this server. The truth is clear, Rogean and Nilbog don't care about this server anymore. They had a good run with it and now understandably have moved on from it and just enjoy the income from adds and donations.

In your original post, you went out of your way to specifically target the staff and administrators of the server. This goes beyond just your opinion.

At one point I believed the average forum reader would be able to distinguish trolling from reality. I was sadly mistaken. When we are busy with work or real life, we cannot respond to every thread. After even a short absence, I have returned to long-standing forum members being trolled into believing things like this. I don't have a lot of time to read the forums, and when I do, I indiscriminately moderate them with no personal offense intended and without bias.

I don't think anyone would do all this for no reason at all. You must like to program and enjoy remaking an old world. So don't say you are doing this for "NOTHING" when im sure this is a hobby of yours. You knew this server was going to be tons work to keep people playing. No private server in the world runs perfect and the word free always brings the worst of the worst out of the woodwork.

This was written with the tone that we gain nothing monetarily for developing or hosting the server. You are correct; it is my hobby and I care a lot about it.

I woke up and read this thread after working hours the previous night on upcoming content. I see someone claiming we don't care about the server, don't work on content, and profit in some way. In actuality, we continue to have the same goals as always.. to provide a home for classic eq while asking for little more than clear bug reports.

I think people get mad when they don't see status updates of new content and patches. They assume after awhile your not doing anything and wonder if they are waste time. IMO the biggest guild on the server should be putting in a lot more effort into keeping people around and starting server events. Suppose that is asking for way to much tho.

im just gonna speak up for some of the folks that have been playing on this server for years and dont post much on the forums. i only skimmed this thread, but sense i started this server more then 2 years ago, i have read the forums atleast twice a week.

i still have less then 100 posts.

i think prob 60% of the server is like this, i feel bad for rogean and nilbog, they have worked hard to give us a free game (one of the better ones made i might add) and forum trolls with 1000 posts a week shit all over them.

oh, let me make a thread every day saying this server is great and awesome and alive, perhaps people will believe that.

my point is this, the loudest voices are often just yelling bullshit, while the rest of us farm seafurys and chat with our guilds quietly.

Your talking about a bunch of unemployed, overweight alcoholics that are collecting gov monies. What else do you expect them to do? Have some type of life?

This is really interresting. In over 1 year i have been following the threads on this forum, and i can't, for the life of me, understand why so many posts are so negative, and filled with hate. Why is this forum attracting so much negativity, when its goal is unselfish and good?

What motivates people to write negatively charged posts, on a forum for a free online roleplaying game? If there is a psychologist out there, please give us your expertise!!
