I'm just ultra super excited for armor that an iksar warrior can now wear

and the thought of maybe being able to get to see VP and all the end game kunark stuffs that I missed out on during live :3

Swish, im not sure why you are opposed to velious dropping, it was one of the most memorable and fun expansions I can think of

Its a great expansion, there's some really awesome content and I'm looking forward to it. But after we all delve in, what is there to look forward to afterwards? A server reset? Custom content? It won't be like it is now... "now" is good! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yep true, new players will always arrive...but if Kunark patches are sped up and done quickly now you'll probably see Velious during the summer drop-off. Alright for some, but most people will be enjoying the sun and doing other things. I'd say the best time to release Velious is when the server pop picks up afterwards. I can wait, I just don't see why people are so excited for something that's not going to be released next week.

I don't remember a shit ton of Kunark threads on the scale that the Velious ones have appeared...

Thats because Kunark isn't nearly as awesome of an expansion as Velious is.

Kunark wasn't 2+ years late. Kunark was designed as a temporary band-aid it only lasted 6 months on live. Even with epics.

Not sure I'd agree there. No new playable race, level limit wasn't increased... it was just a playground for existing 20-25+ characters to enjoy. ToFS was very good as was spider-land.

Raid bosses were well thought out and a good new challenge... yet, it really lacked something I thought. I'll go further (and people will laugh, and that's fine)... Luclin with the Nexus/bazaar and its raid bosses was as good or better than Velious. New playable class that worked well with existing groups, a new race (granted not everyone liked the cats) and some more interesting zones compared to Velious. Put pixels aside and I think the content was just better in Luclin. There, I said it.
