I've seen a lot of your people coming in and apparently buffing up and then camping out, or just hanging out at the top of the steps, Mav. Figured I must have been misinterpreting things, since my understanding is you guys are completely opposed to poopsocking.

Shrug, you're splitting hairs. Buffing up and camping out mains in Trak's lair is the most common form of "poopsock" on this server as far as I knew. Not that I really care if you are doing it. Good luck!

they aren't the same at all. poopsocking requires you to be on to lay claim to the mob you can't do that while you are offline. divinity is against forcing people to stay in front of their computer hours on hours to contest a mob if you can explain how those are the same thing i'll wait for a response.

We have been doing hate clears when Maestro/Inny are in window. When it's clear, some of us will camp out there to give us a chance at beating TMO to him. We do consider that "socking" although I guess it is a bastardization of the original useage.

i'd consider that a strategy to counter not having roster of 80+ people. if we get a shot at sev with 24 he's dying.

It's a valid strategy. I've just never seen Divinity do anything like it, which was why I commented on it. Not to imply there is anything wrong with wanting it more than we do.

fair enough. i've never seen this situation really present itself before though. just hoping it won't be another 100+ man zerg kill, which i don't think it will be based on difficulty of sev.
