the snare neklace sux here cuz of eqemu snare rates vs live, the necklace casts clinging darkness which is suppose to stop mobs in their tracks completely once they get low here, instead, since the run rate is higher here, the mobs continue to move, although slowly...it basically means that you can't use the necklace here like you could in live (shamans were able to use it to solo imps in solb with it, etc...here they would run and u would get adds with it, an example)....
also i thought shaman would be strong in pvp 1vs1 but they are not real good vs most classes cuz of the dots being easy to remove and our nuke being mana ineffecient and low on damage vs other classe's nukes; shaman are good in team pvp play, but in 1vs1 its hard to stand up and beat certain classes especially if they got their resists up; i highly recommend getting a gatorsmash and meleeing your opponents as much as possible (ive taken a cleric down to 45% at level 50 just meleeing before).
