melee is the only way to go, Warrior, Paladin, Death knight, Rogue were my choices for WotLK - Cata.

Gnomes suck because WoW doesn't know how to balance races, being a Tauren for a long time creates a certain hate for small races, hard to see vs. easy to see, but I still stomped them out.

haha, no way i'd play a tauren warrior on a pvp server in classic WoW. I'm not a glutton for being frozen in place getting frost bolted tho.

Warriors are the best mayne, biggest underdog.

I would most likely play a Rogue, anyway, Its what I was in Wafer.

Vanilla wafer = Rogue

Vanilla depended more on class/race combos than just class alone.

Lots of rock/paper/scissors back then.

rogues are scissors

mage hunter shaman paladin priest and druids are paper

warlocks are mushrooms

warriors are paper, until you hit level 60, at which point warrior becomes an unstoppable killing machine, or rock, which also beats paper. but rock can't beat scissors, because scissors are invisible

i killed many rogues with my warrior in classic lol. I also seen tons of rogues die to shadow priests and paladins and fire mages.
