I wouldn't mind it as long as we can /report people who abuse it. The report feature will still snag the chat box and the trolls/abusers can suffer the consequences.

make ooc global, and only ban a few racial slurs. freedom of speech is imperative for a pvp server.


vztz did it big on ooc, provided a lot of good times and funnies.

just add a spam filter so people cant flood the channel. simple as that

thats a very intredasting take on it, it could really spice things up.

if you wanna talk shit in ooc, you're giving away your loc, class level and zone, pretty dope idea imo

the only issue i would see with this is that the ooc chat would be spammed with

People are making way too big of a deal out of the "global ooc will give away my location" thing, which I'm not sure is even a valid concern.

Out of every PvP server I've played on with global OOC (including the live permadeath one), I don't think I've ever seen a scenario of some player attempting to hide who gets ratted out and killed because of the chat.

Everyone already knows the high level people are going to be in one of like two zones.
