Not so much they aren't "on the ball" more they complain and blame the game for being too hard when they refuse to communicate at all.

![]() I got SWTOR a few days ago... it feels a lot more like a single player RPG than a MMORPG.
Think KOTOR2 merged with WoW and then on top of that layer on all the coolest features of Dragon Age. It's not very WoW-like in feel, more in the sense that it obviously included a number of MMO features that were developed for or improved by WoW. If you are either expecting a WoW clone or worried that it might be one, you can set that concern aside - it's not. Regular PvE gameplay feels more like Dragon Age without pauses than it does like WoW. Also, the classes are unique - not like WoW or its predecessors in any way. I get the impression that they actually went back to old school D&D in thinking up and redesigning classes - for example, the Jedi consular/shadow I'm playing plays like a 2nd Ed. Fighter/Thief from the Baldur's Gate days (with perhaps not quite so much cheese). So far, it looks like a fantastic product, high production quality, no skimping on the dialogue, very immersive. I like very much how it hides a lot of the network mechanics (there's a minimum of "loading please wait"), and while the difficulty level is low (so far, anyway - I can beat virtually all of the encounters using just double attack), there's enough going on in combat to keep you solidly engaged. Haven't tried the PvP yet - that's not really my thing, even though I'll do it every so often - so I can't report on that. If you got the $60 + $15/mo. to drop on it, it's worth your time.

![]() Could you make SWTOR LAA? Seems like it would help a bit for people.

![]() I've actually been creating the challenge for myself. I am progressing along my class quests 2 levels below the level recommendation on the areas. Solo the entire time except for 1 Flashpoint. I'm doing the typical procedure of grabbing every quest in an area when I show up, but I do a lot of sneaking around unless the quest has a bonus kill quest.
Playing correctly is the key though.. I take time to learn what my abilities are and how they work, and how each can influence the others, and form a strategy to use. The game is filled with wow players and etc that want easy-mode button mashing. I've solo'd Champions 2-3 levels above me. Playing a Jedi Shadow btw.
