It's pretty funny how the guard thing was barely even mentioned during beta. I'm not saying it wasn't mentioned, but there were only a few and it was not as emphasized. If you want to blame anyone, blame the people that didn't help beta test and only sat there waiting for the server to launch, and are now complaining about things that don't work to their expectation.

Agreed, but then we have another group of people that did beta test and intentionally kept various exploits a secret to be used at live, with great success.

Basically, you can't win.

Then maybe the rest of you should have been less lazy about beta testing and finding exploits and reporting them?

Lol?...

We made tons of threads, posted stuff in general forums, sent PMs... but not all of us were looking for "exploits", or testing the same type of thing.

The failure of this is laid on the people the knew of it and did not report it, and the people that it was reported to, that did not fix it, and released the server.

Quoted.

I posted fuckin SQL code on what to look for and how to fix recharging.

Even if P1999 isnt using the exacty PEQ database (which I know its not), the structure and processes should be similar enough for it not to be completely hard to change the sell rate on a fucking item. EVERY item has this modifier.

I'm not sure this excuses the action of someone who abuses the exploit. Not to mention some of the "exploits" people have mentioned were repeatedly reported in BETA (wands/recharging?). Honestly, recharging was in during classic on live but the big difference in many cases is that the drops were rarer and the cost was higher. Right now there is a ridiculous intersection where drop rate, item power and recharge cost meet.

as for this, i like that the guards do not assist, i hate bluebie newbs that run to them. I am glad its this way -

as for lovely and his group that used these swords on pets to get all the gear they have, now that they are done , the mage he made he wont play anymore - and he will just use his wiz since its geared out and kill anyone that even comes within range so once your 42 you wont get any of this gear and you will have to deal with people like this full geared out people that cheated the system to get what they have, I have been gaming since 1997 - everygame i have ever played if anyone exploited in anyway they were reset or banned. I dont get how people are so stupid that they dont see the only reason he is posting this stuff is becuase he has the gear, they dont need anything anymore gear wise - if you look at some of his screen shots look at his int, then look at it grow in a matter of days becuase hes exploiting gear all of them - they will keep you from getting it. this server will not beable to do it without the stuff they used to get it - this has NOTHING what SO EVER to do with the fact that he used WANDS to lvl up, it the fact that they used exploits to get GEAR that takes along time to get becuase it takes alot of people to do it, and they all want it also, they farmed it with a small group and got everything they need - thats what this thread is about the fact that they used exploits to get gear now they want to share the expolit to make sure noone else gets to use it - leave them lvl 50 i dont care but take the gear from them. make it atleast a fair shot and make them work for something for once in there life, so they dont just run around like a douche bag saying im better than you at pushing a button have higher lvl spells and better gear than you in a gear based and lvl based game - then resorting to im better looking than you? kid come on - i do stuff in real life that you only sit here and dream of -
