a black person does not have latent genes for the white race. he would have to evolve new ones. it makes absolutely no sense that black people would have latent white genes, from an evolutionary perspective. it would make more sense to assume the reverse.

Over time adaptation took place to increase or decrease the amount of melanin production by skin cells, which shield the organelles of the cell from UV radiation, preventing skin cancer. This takes energy to accomplish, and is only done if needed.

In climates where there is more UV radiation (sunny), over time, those with more expression calls in the structure of their DNA survive and thrive, changing the skin tone of the group to be darker over time.

Conversely, in climates where UV radiation isn't a problem, individuals with less expression calls for melanin in their DNA do just as well, and because of that the DNA of the group is less concentrated towards melanin production as a whole, lightening skin over time.

The genes, however, are still there.

I used ShowEQ to help me build my own server: The Sleeper-Progression, so that people could have another place to play.

I have never used it on P99 nor I have I used downloaded or every come into contact with macroquest.
