HOW-TO: Play Project 1999 on a Mac

I followed the instructions exactly as they appear in the screenshots. However, when I try and open the wrapper I get the error:

ERROR! cannot write to Info.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume.
This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file.

Anybody know how to overcome this error? Thanks!

I downloaded the wrapper from Nyme and it was able to run. However, I need to add in the patch to get past the character screen. How do you merge the new patch in?

OMG I just figured it out from googling around. You need to drag the wineskin to your application folder. It worked like a charm after

i meticulously copied the contents of v52 subfolders to the subfolders within the wineskin wrapper one folder at a time

only then did this finally work via macOS Mojave 10.16 supplemental 2
obvs not upgraydin

Having the same issue as Duncanator583. I can get the game to load but when I do, I only see the sky, none of the ground textures are loading.
