HOW-TO: Play Project 1999 on a Mac

Ended up doing copy paste of entire UI folder into my custom one adding Savok's files then pasting only the EQLSUI.xml file into default and worked like a charm.

I turned off rootless to fix the problem of updating to El Capitan. Works now.

Anyone know how to get the apple keyboard with numpad to make the numpad work for directional keys instead of hotkey numbers only?

I have everything working perfectly (so far) on El Capitan using the updated wrapper/engine from Wineskin.

Ok, I got .51 downloaded. The issue I'm hitting now is this error message: The application X11 could not be opened. An error occurred while starting the X11 server: "Failed to activate core devices."

I'm active on the reddit thread now as well - not sure which is better to communicate through...

What is the new updated wrapper that you used? I'm kinda lost on getting EQ back up on my mac.

I installed a new wrapper with Winery, then I made sure to download the latest engine (2.6.1). I copied over my old P99 files into the new wrapper. Then I opened the new wineskin and made sure the path was put in correctly as well as the patchme text.

Yup! 2.6.1. is working like a charm for me.
