I've been absent for a bit and just returned. I tried my guide again (page 29, post 281) on Mavericks 10.9.4 and the only difference is I used the latest Project 1999 Files (V33).

It still works fine for me without any issues, however I'll look into the problems people are having to see if I can find some solutions.

I did Innova's install a few weeks ago and everything worked flawlessly.

I tried getting on today, nada. When I tried opening my P99 icon, nothing happened, wasn't in dock, nothing. I updated engine, wrapper, etc. Nada. Just finished a complete reinstall with Wineskin 1.7.22 and it works. Not sure what prior version was a few weeks ago. Go figure!

Unfortunately I cannot get this to work at all on my Macbook Air. Opening the Project 1999 application makes my gamma change briefly but then nothing opens. The application appears in the dock. I attempted a complete reinstall 3 times now to no avail. I have the eqclient.ini file all set up, everything is installed to default directories, windowed mode is true, etc etc. Any ideas? Anyone have a similar issue and resolve it?

Edit: Nevermind! Sorry, should have read through thread. Had to update the engine and wrapper as others have noted.

Did everything per the instructions. When I go to run Project 1999 the application opens in my dock, but nothing else starts up.

Would someone be willing to give me a step by step with private messaging? I get to step 7 and have no idea what it means.

 Hey guys,

If you're running Mavericks (OS X 10.9), I invite you to give this simple setup a try: 1. Download EverQuest.zip 2. Unzip it. It becomes a .app that was created by following the steps Innova posted earlier in this thread. 3. Double-click that .app, and enjoy! After following the numerous steps in Innova's walkthrough, I realized that we're just creating a Windows sandbox that's configured to run EQ, so once the sandbox is created, there's really no need for anyone else to have to go through the same lengthy setup. It's all self-contained and ready to run on any machine! It's a large download, but only about 100 MB larger than the installer discs and supplementary files. Please let me know if this works / doesn't work for you guys! - Xertex
