Release Date 4th -or- 18th

Given that Rogean is unavailable the weekend after launch I think we should wait until the 18th. He needs to be here in the event that serious bugs are discovered and needs immediate attention. If scenarios like this doesn't get dealt with well in the beginning it will hurt the server.

I think you should release it the 4th I mean...I understand the aspect of releasing a server that is bug free but I think beta has been going on for long enough...people have been waiting for a while...that being said, If Rogean is going on vacation the 11th then maybe would be best to release before he leaves so any important bugs can be worked out?

Him leaving on the weekend one week after launch is almost the worst possible timing to release it. Usually it takes a little while to discover the bugs (Read; a couple days). I'm assuming most of the time he spends on the server is during weekends, and if he can't spend time fixing the bugs for essentially two weeks that's quite horrible.

What bugs though? We've been in beta for a while, I don't think things are going to be changed much at all besides maybe resists. If things run mostly fine now, why wouldn't they if the server went live?

Granted I haven't played a ton, but judging from the amount of people that have been playing beta it's unlikely things have been tested throroughly. I'm sure some problems will occur as they usually do at launch, even though this server seems very solid overall.

I like the date. Far enough out to get the word out but not too far as to lose interest.

I think people can wait two weeks.

And who cares if population crashed. Its a beta that will be wiped in 13 days. Why play until another patch that needs new testing.

If Rogean makes some tweaks I am sure people will log back in to test them.
