Default Pained Soul
The spawn rate on this quest mob is ridiculous... I have been camping this for days now and still no PS, I have camped it for 15, 13, 12, 8 and 11 hours yesterday for a total of 59 hours and still no PS. From what I heard this was a 6-12 hours camp on live... Several other people are complaining they have 40+ hours on this camp with no luck.

Post enough links/research (lots) to determine an average spawn comparison, and I'll make the change here to average the same.

haynar had previously said it should be an average of 6-12 hours to get the PS.

it took me 61 hours.

Took me 7 minutes. Also saw 3 Pained Souls back to back.

70 hours so far and still no Pained Soul. Oh and now the PH is bugged and just won't respawn, killed it 30 mins ago... I'm now waiting on a GM to respond to my petition.

Heebee just because you got extremely lucky it doesn't mean it's working as intended, you post that on every PS complain thread. I see what you are doing there... Clearly the great majority of the server is having trouble getting PS to spawn. It's pretty common to find people with 40+ hours at this camp with no luck.

I knew people on live who sunk over 100 hours at this camp. Pained Soul camp can be fucking awful, deal with it.

Yep, guildmates of mine experienced the same on live. Working as intended.
