No but for some reason I'd kind of like to. Not the role-playing part but a paintball-styled battlefiend with fake swords and stuff. What do you say, bros?

Hitting people with stuff is fun...

Wonder if you could go to a LARP deal with a broomstick, and RP as a Bloodsport person / trainer and just knock the shit out of everyone.

I'm assuming the pic of me is a monk that got into a nasty battle with the Cheetos Wizard.

There's a "guild" in my town that doesn't quite LARP, they just make their own armor/weapons and duel.

It's pretty interesting watching people from all age groups going at each other with weapons.

They were performing for the 4th o July and there was maybe a 14 year old girl beating the shit out of a 17 year old with just a staff, the 17 year old had a shield and a mace

I don't think theres anything wrong with it. You got to admitt tho the you tube vids crack you up. I think its safe to say Everquest players are more acceptable to not care as much. Considering this game is nerdy as hell. But , the Ipad users that have no idea on roleplaying games probably would despise and " Think it's gay", as a insult.

The YouTube videos are ridiculous. Alot of them are nothing like what an actual event is like. The 'Lightning Bolt' video is part of a brief combat against...whatever the fuck it was (though those people are total douchenozzles)...and their costumes kinda suck.

A lot of people get 'cold feet' about trying it because 'it's weird' or whatever else, but the majority of people that I've seen go continue to go after their first time because you can just let go and not worry about 'being you' for a weekend (we only do weekend events, the 1-day events are fucking boring).
