I don't really understand the discussion of double standards. Koota's ban and the resulting raid ban was an isolated incident. This ban occurred in the midst of 365 account suspensions, all of which were granted leniency. If fairness is the goal, then the least fair outcome would be to grant some leniency while holding others to past precedent. Either everyone is banned and TR is raid suspended, or everyone is suspended and TR is left alone. Either scenario is fair -- but you can't pick and choose.

Secondly the idea of there being "fairness" in regards to cheaters is a ridiculous premise. The fair thing to do would be to ban all accounts permanently. Those are the rules. Hack/cheat = ban.

The irony here is this is indeed an isolated incident in regards to guild leadership being caught hacking. TR/IB was the only guild that has their raid leader/officer suspended for using a 3rd party hack. He even admitted to using it during a competitive raid.

The rules are the rules and past precedent has already been set. As Nilbog stated previously, officers/raid leaders and leadership of guilds in general are held to a higher standard by development than the regular players, which is why Nilbog and Rogean's lack of action concerning this matter is perplexing.

Guild leaders certainly can't police every member, but they better be able to police themselves. Either Xzerion knew about this and allowed to happen, or he's too stupid to realize his hand picked officers are cheating.
