Internet dating sucks, just sayin'. As for just meeting people in general, I'm not a big people person, so I doubt I'd go out of my way to meet someone to hang out, and I just can't stand hanging out with most other guys, even those I've known for a few years. There's people from EQLive Brell that I talk to more often than I do my own parents and I've never met them despite being less than an hour or two away just because I hate people (though I know a couple of Necros with a similar outlook). As far as chick's coming here goes...doubtful. I don't even like having people I've known since kindergarten over my place. She'd have to be exceptionally attractive, not like shitty music, be willing to stay here and do pretty much nothing (it's almost winter, hibernation mode already kicked in) and understand that sometimes I freak out for no reason at all.

I'm no basement dweller and I'm the same way.

I deal with people **all day** working in my Human Resources dept. -- 8 hours of that is more than enough "people" for one day.

If your job is so depressing that you can't stomach spending time with other humans recreationally, you have a problem. Sitting in your HR cubicle for 8 hours and spending the rest of the day in a dark room playing EQ is not a healthy or sustainable lifestyle, even if you're still clinging to sanity at this particular moment.
