How can you say EQ was not designed for pvp? The camp system / sandbox world is the best pvp setting I have ever played. And I have played just about every pvp game there is.

On blue server, there are lines, poopsocking, people whine, I actually had the worst experience in EQ on the new blue Fippy Darkpaw server in the hugely crowded solB. If there was pvp on that server it would have been so much better. Instead SolB was a giant bitchfest of people complaining "i was here first" "I have been here for the past 2 days, my camp""Group A trained me and stole my spawn, reporting". The camp system damn near seems like it was designed with pvp in mind.

Just sayin you are missing out. Not to mention it sounds like a couple can't handle it. There really is only griefing if you are not good enough to avoid it.
You obv didnt play UO. By far the best PvP game to date. At least T2A era.

EQ is not designed for pvp in the sense none of the classes are balanced for fair pvp action to go on, You're usually pretty fucked if you're a melee class.

I think a lot of pvpers are under this misconception that all blue server players are just afraid/have never experienced pvp before, Chances are 90% of them have tried it before and they don't like it and thats ok.
People can choose not to like things, just don't get your panties in a twist that they don't like it.

Maybe they can handle it, maybe they would rather you handle it.

staples

I'll take the staples.
