Default Returning level 36 Cleric doomed?

Hi Everyone

So I stopped playing around 2018, and at the time I was really enjoying my Cleric. Logged out just outside Mistmoore Castle. After sorting out my client/reinstalling, I finally got back in, zoned into Mistmoore, and its....dead. Noone but me.

Seriously? I had no idea bout green server then, dont think it existed. I would usually get a message asking if I was avail to group, or LFG for something while exploring. Like there is only 11 people in my level range now, and mostly soloers.

Is this it for me? I really do not wanna reroll another cleric on green, and go through it again, I know others have no issue with that stuff, but I just wanna finally get a cleric past 50 + and do some raids. I do have a brain and think I play a cleric well, just need to relearn zones/where every place is again.

So my quick questions are....Do groups 30+ still happen on Blue? Any advice what to do from here? Is there any way to transfer to green? Do I have a future on blue? Seems anyone who left blue and came back are kinda....scrwd.

Thanks for any replies, I only been back for 2 hours, but yeah...day night difference.

Hey, welcome back.

Let's see: you haven't played in years, you're only level 36 and it sounds like you might have limited assets on blue. Pretty ideal candidate to reroll on green. Maybe take the opportunity to go with a different race/deity, lots of options with cleric.

You might find a group if you join a guild and setup a time to level with some guildies / friends on Blue.

No Transfers available
I'm not sure if it has been declared but I doubt daybreak would allow the character transfers even if the staff wanted to do them.

Blue is on life-support and greens population is getting lower everyday as well. Daybreaks new Legends server (coming in July) will probably reduce Blue & Green population even more.

If you want to pay a monthly subscription fee EverQuest Legends should be released in July.

Personally I would recommend Project Quarm. You will be amazed. That server should hold its population for quite a while even with Everquest Legends coming.

This is a p99 forum. This advice sucks. You recommend Quarm because you like it, but this person asked about p99.

Green isn't what it used to be, but it still has a pretty solid leveling population in the exp superhighway zones like Unrest, Mistmoore, City of Mist, Karnor's Velks, etc. There's also a larger population of high level players that are still active on Green, and are willing to help with lots of things like leveling, gearing, traveling, etc.

Otherwise Cleric can be rough solo unless you've got a LOT of downtime to spare for medding. Green would be more fruitful for less time investment on a cleric. (But another solo class might thrive on a less populated server like Blue)

Green has more population than quarm most nights lately. I struggle to find uncamped solo spots on my druid.

Green had almost 1,000 people on the other night. That's pretty good, even for back in 2000. I don't think youd want much more than that anyway. I'm planning to switch over as well.

If you change your mind and want to restart on green, I'm happy to give you some plat and gear to get you started and powerlevel you up to like 10-15 or so.

Crede this goes for you too.
