There is no potential for error. If you're suspended, you were caught. If you try to play dumb or lie, you'll probably walk away from the conversation with a full ban. You were already given lenience.

My question is if ShowEQ and whatever the hell the other thing is embeds itself into the .dll or whatever of EverQuest as a whole and cannot attach itself to a specific server, and bans and suspensions are occurring strictly because the file was found, how can we prove specific people are using it FOR the server, and not for other servers or the development of their own?

I feel like that is something to take into consideration before assuming everyone cheaters just because they are complaining.

And it's just a question, so don't be a prick in your response. Not all of us are programmers here. Thanks.

What Rogean was saying was a lil different. When another program tries to modify another program (In the case of Macroquest) then when it hooks the process to inject code, the path of the .dll or .exe hooking Everquest can be easily checked. Things like cheat programs would have different dll hooks than any other clients.

it's like running eq through WinEQ2. you have to make a choice to run these programs.

Good point. The thing that gave up those who were allegedly hacking, is that thing a specific fingerprint of prohibited 3rd party programs? Is it possible that such a fingerprint might exist for other reasons, like hacking on another game, or hacking on your live account or something?

No proof was provided.

All I got was "heres a link to a file on your hard drive."

And to begin.. how you obtained the knowledge to where files on my hard drive lay is a question of invasion of privacy, carrying many legal ramifications mister Uthgaard. Time to break open these recent dll files...

Let's see how you actually gathered your data, this seems more like a selective suspension/banning - there are players who know that they use 3rd party programs still playing, and still using them - telling me that they have not been banned or suspended.
