People have free will. They could literally go to the beach, gym, arcade, park, forest, a friend's house, attract or keep a mate, or do nearly any hobby in the world. The people left that use their free will to collect virtual elf tokens in a dead facsimile of a game made 30 years ago are - and I emphasize - hopeless losers.

Been playing on p99 for nearly 2 years now and I have enough fingers on one hand to count the ass holes I've had to deal with. Met a ton of nice people though, unless you hang out in the top raiding spheres I think most people are pretty laid back about it all. I'll usually stay out of problematic areas to avoid potential drama though.

Is this person also Medtek.... or something like that? The 59 DE Cleric in KC?
That guy might be the worst player on the server.

1) If you were scammed all your have to do is /petition. CSR takes that very seriously and will research your concern and take action. The action, however, is usually a lose/lose outcome for all parties involved.
2) Snakpacc and his ever growing army of alts (which sammo helped identify) is a well known player on this server and generally not for good reasons. With that said I've never seen him intentionally harm anyone. He does seem to lack the typical communication/interactive skills that we've come to expect at a basic level from any human interaction (whether this is a disability or some other factors at play I don't know and don't care to speculate on). I have had interactions with him both in KC and in the process of buying Jboots. I have both successfully secured a Jboots MQ from him, and abandoned one after jumping through hoops, wasting a bunch of time, and having the logistics change multiple times during our communication. Again, I think he means well but is just very hard to align with his thinking/communication process. 3) Never advance money for an MQ. Sometimes things go wrong and the MQ fails, CSR also does not support MQs in terms of reimbursement (I don't know if that stance also applies to petitions against another player). I have never once received payment for an MQ, made payment for an MQ, or been offered payment for a failed MQ prior to the person recieving the MQ recieving the completed project. I have however lost hundereds of thousands of platinum on botched turn ins both on MQs and non-MQ attempts that CSR would not reimburse regardless of the intent/outcome. | ||

He is very greedy though, so I could totally see him scamming someone especially if he was able to figure out that they are mostly a new player

I think you just had a bad few run-ins. We're mostly very chill outside of a few known jerks. I hope your experience gets more positive in the future. Good hunting!

Ive had a lot of low level gear given to me for free which never happened back in the day. everything from plat for spells to more expensive items and weapons that I wouldn't have normally seen for at least 20-30 levels making leveling much easier. There is no short of druids giving PoTG either and is incredibly helpful. Going from 19 hp to over 400 hp can really help a guy out. it is heartbreaking though seeing that buff blink and poof. I always try and pay it forward to low levels because I know how much it sucks to die because your weapon is crap.
