I am probably misunderstanding but I think the embarassing lady was responsible for qualifying Australian breaking, or breaking in general? to participate in the Olympics.

Her and her husband were selectors and she got a scholarship overseas as well. All very dodgy. Like ohh look at that! I was selected AND I got me a scholarship.

I think she thought she could push through all the ridicule knowing she was shit but getting the OS trip and the paid learny thing was the pay off. Shame crept in though it seems.
