I will say, DBG keeps filing motions to have THJ shut down, saying that it's harming their reputation and the long-term viability of EverQuest 1 paid subscriptions. It does seem like flailing.

However, my money's on the judge ultimately siding with DBG in the end.

My money is on DBG never even going to court over this because they never had the balls to take 2 game devs to court for the first time over something like this.

Sidenote, Secrets with the dagger in THJ back for entering an official agreement with DBG. Now DBG lawyers have 2 examples of emulators that "Did it the right way"

Courts don't typically allow things to be solved in half-measures, THJ's only competent defense argument is that EQEmu was allowed to exist in good faith. California inparticular has to be very careful on what it does with intellectual property, it's the states golden goose egg.

It's such an egregious illicit business from stolen IP I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this was prison time shit
