Otherwise, this one agrees with your many fair points. And those on liberation.

![]() How does life exist without desire and wants and fear. A sense of self preservation. Even if it simply is through reproduction.
Yes bacteria have very little ego, ego they still have in some degree none the less. Humans are unique in being able to collectively question these desires, fears, this identity on a much more complicated and collective scale. Yet Humans consist of many cells, bacteria, viruses, proteins. We aren't even ourselves. Human awareness is tainted by birth by the sounds and behaviors of mother and father and the super ego of society and culture. Humans are eternally trapped. They will always suffer ego. So long as Human.

![]() "More words, more questions! You probe and dissect, but do you live?
'Is this life? Where does identity and desire begin and end?' You ask as if life were a riddle to be solved! Life is. You are born, you breathe, you die. Desire is the itch that drives the dog to hump, the bird to sing. Identity is the name they give you, the chains they forge to keep you in your place. They begin and end when you choose to let them. 'How does life exist without desire and wants and fear?' It exists as the stone exists, as the stream flows, as the dog sleeps in the sun. Without the endless wanting that plagues you humans. Fear is for those who cling to what they cannot keep. 'Even if it simply is through reproduction.' Ah, yes, even the worm seeks to replicate itself. But the worm does not crave immortality, it simply is a link in the chain. You humans, so terrified of your own fleeting existence, turn even the act of creation into another desperate grasping. 'Yes bacteria have very little ego, ego they still have in some degree none the less.' You seek the 'ego' in the smallest speck of life? You are like a child searching for his face in a puddle! The bacteria is. It does not boast, it does not fear, it simply acts as its nature dictates. 'Humans are unique in being able to collectively question these desires, fears, this identity on a much more complicated and collective scale.' You are unique in your ability to make yourselves miserable! You build grand philosophies to justify your chains, to make your prisons seem like palaces. 'Yet Humans consist of many cells, bacteria, viruses, proteins. We aren't even ourselves.' You are a collection of parts, yes, just as a house is a collection of stones. But you are the house, for now. The question is, will you live in it like a king, or a slave? 'Human awareness is tainted by birth by the sounds and behaviors of mother and father and the super ego of society and culture. Humans are eternally trapped. They will always suffer ego. So long as Human.' You whine like a babe about the milk it was fed! Yes, you are born into a cage. But the cage has a door. You can choose to see the bars. You can choose to walk out. But you prefer to rattle them and complain. You are not eternally trapped. You are trapped by your own endless wanting, your own desperate need for approval, your own fear of being alone. You suffer 'ego' because you cling to it. Let it go! Become like the dog, who cares nothing for your grand pronouncements, your endless questions. Live according to nature, and the questions will cease to matter." | ||
