Are we allowed to like AI art?

Ok I know I said I wasn’t going to keep spamming boobs but I can’t help but comment on this

I was going to go with “I don’t remember from my yearly mandatory fire safety training @ work a recommendation to put the fire out with a samurai sword in your underwear and tits out”

But then I considered just about any other scenario. And even if there was a demon on the other side of that fire wall to fight, there is still no goddamn reason to be walking at it in your underwear with your tits out

There’s just not. No scenario fits and that just kills the immersion for me

i think AI art is just going to get progressively more lewd, think about it, it needs shit to train on, and now the internet is being flooded with ai lewd photos, some real tail eating snake shit is about to go on with this stuff lol.

the ones on 4chan crack me up, it's always some hyper specific animes characters, some i recognize because Evangelion is 30 years old now or some silly shit like this, a nude anime character obscured by a GPU rofl

and the GPU doesn't even look like a GPU because to my point, this shit is only being trained to draw girls basically

It seems to me no matter what archive I got to, it’s flooded with sexy impossi-girls

The ratio of even “dudes” to girls is like literally 1 in 30. And I say “dudes” in quotes because it’s almost always some kind of robot or demon or something. You almost never see just a jacked human dude

Not that I’m particularly interested in that but I’m just like wow this is some big disparity. AI has basically realized porn was written for men so let’s make most of art be porn, written for men

There's clearly a lot of fire there: maybe her top caught fire, and she had to take it off? A bad ass warrior won't let a wardrobe malfunction stop her ... makes perfect sense to me.

But seriously, there's nothing wrong with any kind of art, including erotica art. And if the AIs got trained on a lot of erotic art, I still see nothing wrong (well, other than the mass plagiarism). It just means lots of artists felt like drawing erotica art.

I think the real question is, why isn't there more feminist fantasy art out there for the AI to learn from (ie. steal)? I'd argue it's because of historical gender power imbalances; the AI is just reflecting the reality of our society.

But setting moralism completely aside, just from a health standpoint. Scrolling past pic after pic of erotica art, especially when it was not something I was seeking out but instead sort of thrown in my face in the middle of a gallery of different stuff….

…my brain and gut begin to tell me the longer I look, “this is not good. This is not healthy”. Mostly those two things. And of course if I want to deep dive into it I could go into reasons like:

- this is messing up your dopamine response

- this is messing with your standards and ability to be attracted to average looking women

- this as an activity has a strong risk of bad habit formation

And I know enough both from psychological studies and my own personal experience with indulging and especially taking breaks, that I will never not believe those little nagging thoughts “this is not good. This is not healthy” that grow more internally loud the longer I look
