I really enjoyed THJ, but it's the most "live" like of any of the emu servers except maybe Ezserver with how insanely powerful you are, it's for people who want to triple box without having to actually triple box with that multi-class system of theirs

most people here are looking for an actual classic experience

the short tl;dr is Drama though afaik. i got demoted/kicked and i'm pretty sure the only person on the internet who claimed "bro i was hacked" and it actually happened.

The guy who ran it was a sperg though from what I remember. Would ban people for asking about a timeline. File it into the vaporware pile I suppose. Was a cool concept to bring back EQ the way it was on launch.

I remember I used to subscribe to PC magazine and seeing EQ there. I was on the fence but for some reason I bit the bullet and bought it. Wish I played more than once class but back then playing one class was a full time job.

After is the operative word here. If the next build isn't sufficiently different from the last, there's good reason to delay it.

Not sure what post it would be in but IIRC a couple years ago one of the devs/staff members mentioned that there were a lot of changes to be coded into the next iteration of Green. Obviously, as we know the people responsible for that have real lives, jobs, responsibilities, and other hobbies. They don't get paid to do this.

We've recently seen a couple of patches making changes earlier in the classic era along with Nilbog saying that these would be the case in "future iterations of the server". So I think you are right...they have a bunch they're slogging through and they recently started to have the free time/motivation to do some of it. Once all of that is done I would imagine we'll see the plans for a new Green.
