There's a scene where one of the dudes puts a sex recording on endless loop and ends up in a vegetative state lol. The death scenes at the end where straight up prophetic too. This was a damn good butt creepy movie. Definitely don't let kids watch or watch if you're prone to schizoid breaks.

I hope AI uses this technology to make it seem like humans are not totally extinct, and instead just do social media for the next 1 million years.

Wouild be an awesome sci fi plot.

We spend like 6 years communicating with an alien speices, sharing information and videos of our cities and bonding through a quantum communications connection.

We conform to a united goal to travel to and unite our societies. We love them, and they love us.

We consume great resources to build a rocket ship to get out there and make first contact.

only to find out they went extinct like 1 million years ago, and we're just talking to like 5th generation AI that has been on auto pilot making social media posts, chat bots and other nonsense before the creators went extinct.
