as long as we continue to interact with a variety of different humans on a daily basis we're gonna be fine, we still have brains that evolved in the wilderness to detect threats from a distance like a neanderthal from a different tribe. It looks almost the same as your neanderthal tribe but it's not the same. That's what AI can't beat

the people who are shut ins and who get the majority of their human influence thru screens and media are gonna have no chance, they will believe that their facetime or cam stream girlfriend is a real person on the other end 100%.

The muppet one definitely *looks* much more real because it's using the shitty lighting and hard cast drop shadows you get from a camera flash in a dark room.

Ironically, it looks more realistic *because* it looks kinda bad. Full-zoom version is blurry everywhere except the muppet's eyes and nose for some reason, which look weirdly too high rez to be in that image
