Doesn't matter either way, having someone literally run in front of you and immediately U-turn to get in front of you when they see you turn the other way, using their SoW to insure that they are ahead of you no matter what direction you turn is literal griefing. Like imagine if I did this on my high level Druid. Some low level player is trying to solo in OT? Let me run ahead of him and aggro any mob it looks like he's about to pull. Like c'mon, dawg. This aint PNP IMHO.

That's not actually griefing at all. If there's no PH this is totally in line with what's permitted under the PNP

I thought if merchants are attacking it all that matters is you get the hit that kills it, is that not the case? Or is that only the case if you've done more than 50% of the damage

I will also say that the GM's have suspended / banned people for corpsing AC rings / monopolizing the camp not giving to next on list.

If thats what that gent is doing (Which it seems like they are at first glance) they should absolutely be banned.

It is griefing. In fact on TLPs where the PNP doesn't exist, I regularly log onto high level characters and induce actual full-on meltdowns when I begin to kill every single mob in the surrounding area of a group who kept stealing my low level character's mobs.

I think I actually have the VOD recorded when bedroom group in Lower Guk completely lost it when I killed every single mob outside of bedroom because they wouldn't stop stealing exe/cav mobs.

But this will be my last response to you before you're blocked indefinitely because I just remembered who you are and how annoying you are.

They literally spam the journeyman boots effect in front of me as I wait on the camp. So yeah. But they are Playing Nice!!!!!!!!!!

1) I play off hours. The camp is usually open these days. It's an easy camp to hold while working from home. Sometimes you get ring, sometimes you don't. Still gives xp to a 57 Druid. A pittance, but xp nonetheless!

2) Always, ALWAYS respect the list! I am genuinely excited for people when they get their AC rings. See point 1 - there is rarely a line anymore to get the PH, even many nights I just go there and check and its open. There isn't even a list most times.

3) People are genuinely happy to not have to sit at that camp for 2 - 8 hours to save 5k. It's a service [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Most people have tons of money on this server and would rather spend their time doing something else.

4) Sales aren't what they used to be, but see #3 above. I sold all those MQs over a couple weeks. Think there were 7 at one point. Bought a Fungi to support the server merchant community and now levelling a Rogue and Cleric for fun.

5) Kill Hasten if you want. OR don't. I don't care. Doesn't change my day at all, it just screws over your guildmate / fellow server player who wants boots for his alt so they can enjoy their levelling experience that much more!

This is such a non issue of people guessing and getting angry over a small money camp that is often open. Get there and get on the list if you want, farm them yourself, it's your choice. But there is zero monopolization of anything and take a breath people!

Because it is as boring to sell them as it is to buy them, I do a random 100 after and you can get 10%, 20% or even 50% off. Because its more fun to do it that way. People are excited to get boots for their alts and I'm happy to help them get them faster.
