Also: jboots kinda suck. Sow pots are very significantly faster. I have jboots on my rogue, but I still just buy sow pots cause they are much better. Jboots are for emergencies for me now because they're instant cast but that's about it.

Erm, Jboots is prob the best clickie in the game for every class in outdoor zones. By the time necromancers can get Words of Darkness they should be able to easily solo the AC... assuming it's not camped by someone who already has the boots, which it almost always is.

Nadian Troll poster newbie,

I have killed the Ac so many times I have levelled from 49 to 54 with 67% into 54, four months ago.
I have been playing on another server the last four months.
I came back 3 weeks ago, I camped the Ac to Level 55 over four days.(longest camp six hours) In that time I managed to get 5 rings.
The bonus weekend came along and I was playing another toon. I rarely camp the AC at the weekend. I have noticed since returning the AC camp is open. I was killing Gornit for four hours last week and ac was open for that four hours.
Four months ago I was getting 6 rings a week and selling them at the weekend, This is a lot of hours per week! I managed to get my druid epic last week, Yes I paid for it!

When I camp the AC I follow the List rules, I get-Next person on list etc..

I play eq a lot..but I'm on euro times, which is why I sell at weekends. The tunnel is Dead during the week my time.

I see the same ppls week in week out, selling the same stuff, Fungi tunic, Chitchin, Spells, Gems, Goblin skins, Braziers, Forlorn , Chardok Drops, Seb, etc. I mean you try getting a A ferocious hammerhead camp?
HG farming, Paineel, Felwithe, the list goes on in fact if it is worth camping it generally is. I`m not including Guild sellers. Yet no posts?

So why do the same/some ppls keep posting hatred for ac camp?

Most posts are a lie, or bending of the truth at least.

As I said the Ac camp is open, I do not have discord no tunnel thingy for me. Ohhh I do have Gina?.

There seems to be A snobbery when it comes to the AC camp with some ppls I have no idea why, I think they are Karen's/Kens. They insert there victim excuse into the post but is basically a complete Lie.
They believe the game has to be played there way and should only be interested in the same things as them, they do not take into account the human behind the screen may only have one hand IRL. and the software to help is %$%$%$ crap.

None of this applies to me. I`m as thick as shit and a crap PPL.

You THINK corpsing is wrong? Loot corpsing is done in other camps not often but happens. The ac corpseing gets out of hand somtimes. I agree it does. Needing a no rent item makes it worse than other camps.
Why not kill (insert mob name here) far better loot. I save other mobs/camps for other toons. I may even play one or two when i`m not stoned.

Im a crap ppl and will continue farming/camping mobs.
I will do this without breaking any rules/PNP until the demand is not required. Unfortunately we are almost here, since returning the market is not good, not just for jboots but items to 55ish is not great.

In yalls defense, your corpses just happened to be in front of me when I was making the thread. I'm not actually that mad and was joking around with my friends on Discord about how anytime I see someone advertising JBOOTS MQ and HASTEN IS UP that I should gate to RM and kill him. I was honestly just a little curious if something like that could be considered griefing and made this thread to get feedback.

The real inspiration for this thread was actually the Druid named Straggler. What he does IMHO would be considered actual griefing. Teleporting into S Ro every hour and using his Spirit of Wolf and levitate to purposefully run in front of whoever was already there clearing PHs. Like clock work. As he literally has multiple corpses that are within minutes or hours of decaying. Like how are we calling this playing nice, and not actual griefing? Because if this was literally any other MMO I've played if a high level player who clearly doesn't need an item only shows up to prevent other players who need the item from being able to get it, then that's actual griefing. Just keeping it real. And I can't actually imagine doing this or thinking it's good for the community.

Like I literally told someone in my guild who is playing a melee and can't really solo AC after AC to hold the camp in OOT if they can actually find the camp open, I'll gladly help them camp it until they get their ring. It's just weird to me to want to ruin this game for other players, often times in ways that seem mindless or illogical ie. having a ton fo rings that you know are going to rot anyways. I guess perhaps he sees this as a way of controlling the market and forcing players to have to go through him to get their jboots, but... all he's done is insure I will never buy jboots from him. And honestly, I have certain characters, like my Rogue, who will almost certainly have to buy an MQ. So I'm not against the service. I'm against the Druids who purposefully go out of their way to make sure other players can't get these items while they have dozens of the same items rotting at the same time.

This is not play nice. This is actual griefing.

Clearing PH in SRO does not cause the AC to spawn. At 9pm it either spawns or a PH spawns. There is nothing you can do that will make it spawn, there's no way to camp it as it can spawn in multiple places in the zone.

So while you are welcome to be disdainful of people who are terminally online and trying to monopolise the camp, you can't accuse them of doing anything technically wrong with respect to PH.

Yes it's very obnoxious for someone to levitate on top of you with Spirit of the Cheetah. I should know it took me 10 days of camping SRO to get my jboots. I made some friends who tried to help me as well, but in the end I got them during a quiet time when I was the only one in the zone.

One time it spawned and I wasn't fast enough to get to it and the merchants killed it lol.

That's not actually griefing at all. If there's no PH this is totally in line with what's permitted under the PNP
