My controversial stance is that if a kid ends up doing a mass shooting as a kid or adult, his parents get thrown in prison for life with him

Absentee parent as well, no excuse

Would force better parenting, paying attention to what your kid is doing online, and not bailing on your own kids, etc

Every reactionary solution to any given problem involves prison, they suffer from that "when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail" sort of issue as most of them aren't real bright
