It's great for necro charming, but that's mostly just done in one zone unless it's a group and you're keeping your pet permanently anyway.

Instant invis is always convenient to have for general living, but hardly a big deal. Saves having to memorize the spell or getting in trouble if it fades in a bad spot.

They made it so you can no longer stand up from FD and click it to avoid re-aggroing. That means the item is no longer an actual increase in your character's potential.

I necro charm soloed exclusively from around 30 to 60, tons of great spots, fastest method by far. Then, once you get to raiding, you get to charm in Hate/Fear and do some decent damage, being able to easily break instantly without targeting is amazing.

People saying the post-nerf is "only 5 seconds" are short-sighted, 5 seconds vs instant is huge, COS is permanent invis without inconvenient breaks or the need to stop, important not only for dungeons but general travel as an evil race/class. Also, if you add together all the times you click a COS over the life of a character, I bet you're saving literally 100s of hours.

This item will continue to go up in price, It is an amazing item to be Fd/instant click as you stand to drop agro. Would I pay 40k? No, but I farmed like 12 of these when they were dropping[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.], sold them early on for like 10-20k then gave rest away to friends/guildies kept 1 for myself. Go out and farm, get it now before blue/green merge and they jump to 60k+

I mean pre nerf cos is incredible, but standing up and instant clicking invis doesn't drop aggro itself. It does however allow you to escape certain situations where you cant necessarily stand up run away and FD quickly as FD isn't instant for necros and sks.
