Yeah, i messed up. Instead of the Rod i needed from the stone skeleton, I looted the gem that's a heart. I got confused. Sorry!

If you petitioned for reimbursement, I would recommend just doing the quest over. It's not a hard one and reimbursement often takes months. P99 is all volunteer staffed after all
