Unfortunately all that will happen is Trump will go nuts and run as an independent (or otherwise tell his supporters not to vote for DeSantis in the general election) and the dems will win the presidency again as a result. However, even if that happens the upshot is that it will be an even more damning indictment on Trump and by 2028 he should be a non-factor (or technically maybe dead too since he's old and very unhealthy).

That is, if he's not convicted in any criminal trials by 2024, which he quite possibly could be.

My prediction:

Everything will be won by good faith independents, who will govern to the benefit of the population they represent and future of their region (while giving due consideration to their impacts on the wider world).

Infrastructure investment won’t be squandered. Lobbying will be used to fund public projects not private pockets.

USA becomes a utopia for small holders and workers.
