What I find fun as a casual scrub is fighting in an outdoor zone with craploads of wandering adds, like most outdoor zones seem to have

I like to fight right out in the open, not at the edge of the zone line, and try to handle all the adds I get. I can usually do ok, but sometimes I end up getting in over my head and have to run out or gate. You would think I could mez/blur everything to reset, but that can become tricky because it’s not a guaranteed blur and then spacing/positioning matters because a non-blurred thing will re-aggro the blurred thing next to it

But just the sheer random hectic-ness of it I find exciting

Oh yea dur

My new pet peeve are shaman mobs. I like to fight where there’s some casters with brains to eat via theft of thought and wandering mind, and I like to roleplay being an illithid. But for some reason the original devs loved the shit out of shaman as a mob caster type

This means my charmed pet is constantly being slowed. Not bad at all for reverse charming, but sometimes I want to wreck with a hasted pet. So I seem to have two options: try casting the high level version of cancel magic on him, which also seems to frequently remove his tash and charm, or try to interrupt the living shit out of the shaman mob I’m killing. I’ve been going with option 2 thus far

Level 4 mez is all you need to prevent your pet from being slowed. Stun obviously works too. Let it cast through all the other spells, always interrupt dispel (can break charm) and slow.

Tash cannot be dispelled, it is a disease. but yes, cancel magic on your pet is not a great option. Shaman mobs are annoying.

I have a confession to make. I am Jujuminjo. I just thought this would help get Enchanter nerfed but it has gone too far. Sorry everyone.
