my enchanter turned some in around 35. Think i got 1% for 5 or 6 stacks. I dont see why a lowbie couldnt, other than having to get there alive, and then having someone secure the wanderer during turn in.

Once you get into the 30s, Drolvarg Fangs that drop in FV and DL can be turned in in the FV outpost for pretty good xp if you aren't an evil race.

Also, braids (not stackable, unfortunately) from Sarnak Berserkers in OT turn in at the evil outpost in 4's, the xp is really good and even moves the bar a bit at level 50. As a bonus, if you do enough braids to hit amiable in the outpost, you can get your OT hammer for free without having to pay someone for a puppet strings click.
