to see the italians coming out of the woodwork! We all know DaVinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Cardano (math), Fermi (physics)...the list goes on and on.
I'm 3/4 italian, 1/4 sicilian and married a gorgeous woman with the exact same heritage. Our focus around family time includes cooking most of the time. We eat all natural / organic / locally grown and have the best pressed EVOO (that's extra virgin olive oil), home-made salamis, pasta, and even wine in our house at all times. Anyone that makes fun of us are just plain jealous.
All this hate floating around is truly sickening and despicable. Most of what I say here and in my teachings is out of humor, meant to be thought-provoking, a mirror into your own soul.
It seems like the OP and responder's basis of morality stands on the premise that there is a "best" guild that "anyone would do anything" to get into. I stand here to tell you that is 100% false. There are people that play EQ that have principles that simply cannot be compromised. False invitations into a guild, loads of pp, empty promises are all Barmicidal feasts (similar to the feast that Ofelia cannot touch in Pan's Labyrinth). If I do something that does not justify 500pp, I refuse, and have done mutiple times. If it is warranted, then I accept. It always starts little and then grows larger, like the guild is better than this other guild.
Grow up! Act like you would in RL or don't dribble that garbage from your mouth again. No guild is better than one person with the utmost integrity. Those people are who I seek out, and who end up part of my circle.
