From what I can tell reading the EQ2 forums and stuff, their teams have a lead for most departments, and then any projects they can get the budget for, they outsourced to India and then the lead in San Diego has to go through the outsourced work and make sure it's all ok. It sounds like the worst possible way to development.

I was told the Oggokening was a side effect of a bug fix. I don't think it has anything to do with Green 2.0 other than that I guess that bug won't occur on Green 2.0.

Still, I think we can believe there will be a Green 2.0.

It's been a few years since I've played and I am feeling the bug again. I just popped in to check on the possibility of a restart back to 99. Sounds like it's not on the horizon just yet.

People been saying that for years, then patches happen, changes happen, people said green was never happening and totally out of nowhere it got announced. This isn't a live game with paying customers, shit moves at a different pace, especially with it over a decade old and mostly completed.

There’s this underwater cave called The Blue Hole which is actually a graveyard; it has killed more divers than anywhere else on earth

About ~130 and counting have perished there (8+ per year)

This is what I think about when I consider my char being dumped into the shithole that is the Blue server
