All she did this time was endangered lives of service men and women and piss off just about our only trading partner worth anything.

I mean, if we're being honest, this is American politics so ... some Taiwanese businessperson probably donated to her campaign fund, and so she's pushing the pro-Taiwan angle extra hard for them [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But still, it's not like she's making some radical foreign policy change because of that ... she's just annoying China at a moment that Biden maybe would rather she didn't.

I mean what we're looking at here is so far 1 of 2 scenarios:

1. nobody knows why Pelosi just took the military to Taiwan except Pelosi
2. the government and military is doing some secret op and their best plan to cover it up is to tell us they dont know why Pelosi took the military to Taiwan.

Either way, this is some ideocracy shit.

For real. China should have blasted her aircraft and said nukes if you respond in kind. She should have been treated like a rogue actor or pirate.

Imagine if I just up and decided to commandeer military transport to Taiwan. Since when does the military have to even obey some idiot congress critters?

I hate the idea of a "military conflict" with china, because it would definitly go down like this:

They would kill a bunch of people in taiwan and eventually take it.

We would sanction them.

All our shit would cost more

And they would not give a flying f*&k about the sanctions.

And it'd just be funny to see that happen, TWICE in a row.
