I love all of you but we all know Everquest in 2000 did not have nearly as high a ratio of drugs and/or mental illness players as P99 has (whom may or may not have given up on all or most of their dreams IRL.) This is why P99 will almost never feel *quite* classic - especially after a server has been running 2-3+ years.

A simple test you can do to determine if bang bang really happened or not...

Step 1: Find some wildlife (birds for example)
Step 2: Make a loud bang near the widlife

If the wildlife comes running to you like a long lost child then the big bang really happened.

If the wildlife moves away from you rapidly in fear then the big bang is a hoax.

EQ P99 is a bit odd because EQ was designed for the player to forever evolve and the evolving bit stops at 60 on P99.

So godless atheists/scientists/progressives/liberals/democrats with the latest iphone should be playng on retail, and god fearing people with flip phones should be playing on P99.

Maybe there's a 3rd option which makes everybody happy?

That shouldn't change as the population increases in size, it only changes if my woman leaves me, the weed runs out, I stub my toe, I get fat, and random retards turn up to say stupid crap to me.

There's no reason why it's impossible for everybody to be happy all the time unless almost perfect is better design than perfect which would mean you dropping your ice cream on the floor by 'mistake' once in a while is the why it's meant to be to make life more fun as long as you get to see somebody drop their ice cream at some point.
