coming from a guy who got a DUI in a stationary vehicle. police are pretty chill i think. then again i haven't had many run-ins with them other than that and a few other funny ones.

Some police are cool. However some police enjoy abusing their power and inspiring fear in teenagers and other young adults. As a rule I dislike them first and make exceptions later if they are actually chill
