When I was talking about drugs above, I was referring to illegal substances (hence the use of " "). For those purposes neither alcohol nor coffee is a "drug", yet coca leaves / weed / cocaine are.

i rarely drink, and i don't do drugs anymore. back in the late 90's-early 00's i was going to raves a few times a month, tried lots of things. my rules were no needles and crack is dirty. i work in the cannabis industry now, so that's kind of unavoidable.

I stay away from drugs, prescription, over the counter, illegal, or whatever, unless I need caffeine to keep from falling asleep at work.

I hate caffeine though, it gives me withdrawal. I visibly shake (mostly in my hands).
