It was EC on E'ci, Ayonae Ro, Povar, and Innorruk. I believe it might've been Gfay on Luclin.

Clearly Gfay is inferior. And I never heard of NFP until now. It defies all logic

Was EC on Luclin, FV and I believe Test was EC as well...

I'd be down with a NFP auction zone strictly for the purpose of chilling in Tassel's Tavern.

Everybody would be held up in bars and Inns and stores which would be pretty neat.

Plus one could easily tradeskill while sitting around.

I'd support a move to NFP like Toddfx said. I'd definitely look to open a Trade Federation bar.

NFP has a bank and crafting materials, it's actually quite logical.

I also remember a lot of auctioning in Gfay, but then that's just because there were so many people in the zone at all times. There were many players who started the game in Faydwer and simply never left that continent.

I don't really care where auction central is, the sad thing to me is how the gaming area is rather dead anywhere west of High Hold Keep. The Karanas, Qeynos, Blackburrow, and Everfrost used to all be full to the brim.

Was always used to EC so it is plenty classical for me.

I think the EC area makes some sense in that there are places relatively close by that evil and good races / classes can go to bank, ports are close by, boat's close, somewhat central, etc. There are more zones to adventurwein therefore there will be more players on the continent and in the area. It's a part of the original world so it had momentum prior to Kunark, and Velius. Beyond that, I'm not sure how it was that it became the de facto auctioning point on live back in the day. There were variations with places like Greater Fay being the place to go but generally it was East Commons.

EC on E`ci and I hated the run from Neriak bank to the tunnel encumbered with plat.

I think a bazaar would ruin the classic feel, sorry. When we got channels there was a server-wide auction channel. Maybe this would be more doable.

I personally think Gfay would suck, sorry. NFP would be cool, but good luck making it happen.
